Vradiano is thought to be an indigenous to Evia variety which Kostas Vriniotis is trying to express both in a sweet and a dry version. Intense ruby colour. Mostly red fruit along some herbal scents on the nose. Sweet fruit on the palate with supple tannins, this delivers a good balance between the high but not warm alcohol of 15% abv and the zesty acidity. A good effort although I think Vradiano may be better just for sweet wines.
