Contrary to 2012 the 2013 shows a riper broader style and is a stylistic change perhaps in what Dougos offers as his top Rapsani. 60% Xinomavro with Krassato and Stavroto from low yielding old vines (over 50 years old). Forward nose outside the box for a stereotypical Xinomavro offering high level of ripeness. Excellent phenolic maturity on the palate with fine grained tannins that you feel them only in the aftertaste. Controversial perhaps but a beauty at the end. Excellent oak integration. Approachable already.
