Έλληνες Sommeliers: Το next big thing στην Kardashia;
Πέρυσι είχα την δυνατότητα να παρακολουθήσω αρκετά από τα δρώμενα των Somms (σ.σ sommeliers), αυτών των ιδιαίτερων ανθρώπων που κατά τον άκρως χιουμοριστικά καυστικό τρόπο γραφής του Ron Washam έγιναν γνωστοί στις αρχές του αιώνα, όπως περίπου οι ισλαμιστές τρομοκράτες ή οι περίεργοι Butt (χωρίς μετάφραση) άνθρωποι από την Kardashia.
Η πρώτη μου εικόνα άρχιζε να σχηματίζεται όταν στις αρχές Φεβρουαρίου συμμετείχα στην κριτική επιτροπή για τον καλύτερο Έλληνα Sommelier, κρίνοντας το κομμάτι της γευσιγνωσίας. Συνολικά μία εξαιρετικά ενδιαφέρουσα εμπειρία που μου έμαθε πολλά και που μου σχημάτισε ένα γενικό αλλά κάπως θολό, δημιουργικής ασάφειας θα έλεγα πλαίσιο. Ειδικά στο τελικό κομμάτι της γευσιγνωσίας είναι αξιοσημείωτο ότι οι τρεις φιναλίστ θα μπορούσαν να είχαν πάει πολύ καλύτερα τόσο στην γευσιγνωσία κρασιών όσο στην γευσιγνωσία αποσταγμάτων.
