Achaia Clauss Αυτοκρατορικό Κελάρι: Το σπανιότερο κελάρι του ελληνικού κρασιού

Σε στρατηγική θέση πάνω από την Πάτρα από το 1861, η Achaia Clauss θεωρείται το πρώτο οργανωμένο οινοποιείο της Ελλάδας και η κοιτίδα της Μαυροδάφνης αν και στην πράξη αυτή μάλλον μας ήρθε από την Κεφαλονιά μέσω του Ερνέστο Τουλ. Το κορυφαίο του σημείο είναι το Αυτοκρατορικό Κελάρι, ένας θολωτός χώρος που στεγάζει βαρέλια του 19ου αιώνα αφιερωμένα σε βασιλείς, κρατικούς ηγέτες και εκκλησιαστικούς αξιωματούχους. Στις δούγες τους αναγράφονται ονόματα όπως της Πριγκίπισσας Αλεξάνδρας, του Βασιλιά Γεωργίου Α’, της Βασίλισσας Όλγας, του Μπίσμαρκ και του Στρατάρχη Μόλτκε. Πολλά είναι σκαλισμένα στο χέρι και επιβλητικά.
