Alexandris Apiro Rosé 2018
I have written before about the wines of Alexandris winery in Rhodes (you can read more here). These are smart wines with personality that reflect an underrated terroir. Apiro translating into infinity, is a intellectual concept of a blend where the varieties are not revealed and each harvest is different keeping only the same name. Salmon colour, this is not another Provence in style wine; pure nose showing again many components - floral, fruity and herbal. There is though a strong core of crunchy red fruit and beautiful freshness elevating complexity. Medium bodied, elegant and rewarding. What a lovely label as well.
