Ασύρτικο & Riesling: H μεγάλη γευσιγνωσία δύο σούπερ σταρ ποικιλιών (Electra Metropolis 14.10.19)
Mία γευσιγνωσία πραγματικά υπερπαραγωγή ετοιμάζεται τη Δευτέρα 14 Οκτωβρίου στο Electra Metropolis. Ένα πολύ μεγάλο masterclass που το συζητάμε εδώ και καιρό με την Γερμανίδα Master of Wine Caro Maurer για να συνδέσουμε τις δύο πιο σημαντικές ποικιλίες της Ελλάδας και της Γερμανίας. Το Ασύρτικο και το Riesling. Πόσο κοντά βρίσκονται αρωματικά, έχει κοινά στοιχεία η δομή τους, πως παλαιώνουν είναι μόνο μερικά από τα ερωτήματα που θα απαντηθούν.
Συνολικά θα παρουσιαστούν 23 κρασιά, 11 Ασύρτικα από όλη την Ελλάδα και 12 Riesling. Αξίζει εδώ να αναφέρουμε ότι τα ξηρά Riesling είναι ουσιαστικά τα αντίστοιχα γερμανικά Grand Cru που φέρουν το χαρακτηρισμό Grosses Gewächs. Δηλαδή ξηρά κρασιά από κορυφαίους Grosse Lage αμπελώνες. Aκούγεται λίγο μπερδεμένο αλλά θα το ξεδιαλύνουμε στη γευσιγνωσία.
