Athanasiou Assyrtiko 2018
Athanasiou winery is one of the emerging names of the Nemea landscape, giving emphasis on organic farming and excellent quality of fruit. Their mainland Assyrtiko has matured on the lees for 6 months adding more body and in theory some complexity. It sits on the 13.5% abv and is more to the fruity side with lime and tropical fruit scents. Rich and oily in texture with lovely depth of fruit and long finish it demonstrates what the variety can produce outside its natural Santorinean home. Greece&Grapes €10.90
