Διασώζοντας τα παλιά αμπέλια στην Ελλάδα

''Για λίγες μέρες δεν πρόλαβα κάποια παλιά αμπέλια Λημνιώνας που τα ξεπάτωσε ένας αμπελουργός στην περιοχή της Ραψάνης'' μου εκμυστηρεύτηκε πριν λίγο καιρό, με πόνο καρδιάς γνωστός παραγωγός. Την ίδια θλιβερή ιστορία μου έχουν διηγηθεί παραγωγοί από την Κρήτη, την Τήνο έως τη Νάουσα και το Αμύνταιο. Ακόμη και στη Σαντορίνη (ναι στη Σαντορίνη) υπάρχει συζήτηση για να ξεπατωθούν (εκριζωθούν) παλιά αμπέλια που είναι αντιπαραγωγικά και στη θέση τους να μπουν νέα κλήματα που θα δίνουν τριπλάσιες ή και μεγαλύτερες ποσότητες.
