Chatzivaritis Ni 2018 (Minimus Series)
(65% Malagousia and 35% Roditis grown on organically cultivated vineyards in Plagia for Malagousia and Bidablas for Roditis in Goumenissa, sandy clay soil, spontaneous fermentation in clay amphoras, low sulphites addition only, 30 days with the skins followed by maturation in old oak for 4 months) oak barrels, with no additives, fining or filtration, and with very low sulfites addition. Following fermentation, the wine is aged in the same French oak barrels for an additional 3 months). Orange coloured. Aromatic, with Malagousia setting the tone. Chestnut cream, candied fruit, and orange peel. Impressive on the palate, with grippy tannins that are well supported by the fruit's intensity. An exciting orange wine from Chloe Chatzivaryti.
