Dalamara Kapnistos 2017

Dalamara Kapnistos 2017

60% Malagousia, 35% Assyrtiko and a touch of Roditis that have seen almost a day with the skins. Then the wine matures oxidatively in 15 years old oak and some Stockinger barrels. Tiny production of 2.400 bottles. An idiosyncratic wine that flies under the radar for Ktima Dalamara but definitely worth a try. Gastronomic with roasted hazelnuts and candied lemon on the nose. Medium bodied and layered with a smooth nutty finish. Greek Sherry version.
