Dalamara Vignes Franches 2013
From a combination of own rooted pre-phylloxera vines of 100 years of age (in Paliokalias vineyard) and younger 30 years old, own-rooted as well planted in Vanto (where the winery is located) this is a heart stopping and complete Naoussa. The 2013 from a stunning vintage is very youthful and backward at the moment on the nose. Taut on the palate with very firm structure it needs time to resolve tannins. Possesses however impressive concentration and I am confident it will evolve in a superb wine in a few years. Serious cellaring needed here.
