Diamantakos Naoussa 2013
From modernist George Diamantakos who brings a fresh breeze of air in the Naoussa region this shows a gorgeous bouquet of strawberries, olive and pepper with adequate weight and concentration on the palate. Firm ripe tannins speak of Xinomavro’s identity and provide the structure for good ageing potential. More roustique and masculine compared to 2012 but still complex, tasty and structured. Matured in 1/3 American oak, 1/3 old French barriques and 1/3 500 lts French oak.
