Έντονο χαλάζι χτύπησε τον αμπελώνα της Κεφαλλονιάς

Έντονη χαλαζόπτωση χτύπησε χθες, Σάββατο 15 Μαΐου, το νησί της Κεφαλλονιάς προκαλώντας σημαντικές ζημιές στους νέους βλαστούς και στις ταξιανθίες των πρέμνων. Το πυκνό χαλάζι που έπεφτε για περίπου 20 λεπτά σε μέγεθος 'παγάκι' έπληξε κυρίως την ευρύτερη περιοχή των Ομαλών από Βορρά προς Νότο όπου βρίσκεται ο κύριος όγκος της Ρομπόλας. Η εικόνα είναι αποκαρδιωτική σχολιάζει ο γεωπόνος Γεράσιμος Δαναλάτος εκτιμώντας ότι θα επηρεαστεί σημαντικά η παραγωγή της τρέχουσας χρονιάς αλλά πιθανώς και της επόμενης.
