Lacules Merlot 2015
New effort in Koroni Peloponnese by the Gruber family producing in Lacules Bay Merlot and Syrah based wines. The Merlot 2015 is seductive on the nose with abundant black fruit, smoke and mint. The oak at this stage is very well integrated and it seems to be of very high quality. Palate despite 14.5% abv is medium bodied ripe and fleshy with polished tannins and a slightly oaky and woody finish. Delicious wine if not distinctive.
