Assyrtiko from Crete can be quite good and this is one more proof. Vines are planted at 450 m at argilo- calcareous soil. Age of vines is max 12 years. Wet wool, minerals and tropical fruit on the nose. Citrus fruit and herbs on the palate. Layered and long with nice freshness. (tasted blind).
