Three rare Tselepos Wines, ten years on
Three rare Tselepos bottles opened at Selene show three very different paths through time: mature Santorini, astonishingly fresh Laoudia and an unforgettable eleven-year-old Moschofilero.

Rare bottles come with expectations. Every so often, one catches you completely off guard. That happened at Selene in Santorini, on the second evening of the Greek Wine Legends series, when I tasted three older Tselepos wines alongside second-generation producer Aris Tselepos.
Two took us back to the beginning of the family’s work on Santorini. The first was Canava Chrissou-Tselepos Santorini, from 2014, and the inaugural single-vineyard Laoudia, released two years later. The third, Tselepos Blanc de Gris 2015, came from Mantinia in Arcadia and demanded just as much attention.
