Vouni Panayia ‘Barba Yiannis’ Maratheftiko 2016

The 'old guard' of Cypriot red varieties is planted in 166 hectares. Its aromas are typically associated with flowers and red cherries. Blood orange, peach and cherries on the nose. Structured on the palate it starts soft with tannins building towards the finish. A little backward at the moment it will reward further cellaring. (tasted blind)
