Καιρό ήθελα να γράψω αυτό το άρθρο. Και ενώ κάποιος θα το έβλεπε ως μικρή προδοσία έναντι στις ελληνικές ποικιλίες και περιοχές ας είμαστε ειλικρινείς. Τα επίπεδα πολυπλοκότητας που μπορεί να σου προσφέρει μία μεγάλη κόκκινη Βουργουνδία είναι ασύλληπτα. Οι συζητήσεις που μπορεί να προκαλέσουν αυτά τα κρασιά είναι ατελείωτες και απροσδόκητες ξεκινώντας με φιλοσοφική χροιά και συχνά καταλήγοντας στην ηδονιστική διάσταση. Ο Roald Dahl έγραψε κάποια στιγμή ‘’Το να πιεις ένα Romanee-Conti είναι σαν να έχεις ταυτόχρονα οργασμό στο στόμα και στη μύτη’’ (Wine from Another Galaxy).
